Instructions

  • If needed, crush the Nish Nosh crackers into bite-sized pieces. You can do this by placing them in a sealed plastic bag and gently crushing them with a rolling pin.
  • Finely slice the red onion and chop the hearts of romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Cut the cherry tomatoes in halves.
  • Shred the purple cabbage finely. You can use a sharp knife or a mandoline for this task.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the freshly squeezed lemon juice, creamy mayonnaise, extra virgin olive oil, low-sodium soy sauce, Dijon mustard, golden brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Whisk until the dressing is well combined and smooth.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine the crushed Nish Nosh crackers, sliced red onion, chopped romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, and shredded purple cabbage.
  • Drizzle the prepared salad dressing over the salad ingredients. Ensure that the dressing coats the ingredients evenly.
