Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Tillamook Shredded White Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 12 ounces of light-flavor beer
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Add the flour and whisk until it’s completely combined with the butter.
  • Then add the beer, cream cheese, chili powder, and salt and whisk until everything is well combined.
  • Increase the heat to medium and keep stirring until the mixture thickens.
  • Remove from heat, add the shredded cheese, and whisk until the cheese is completely melted.
  • Serve warm with your favorite chips, crackers, or vegetables.

• Make sure to use a light-flavored beer so that it doesn’t overpower the cheese.
• If you don’t have cream cheese, you can substitute it with sour cream or Greek yogurt.
