Ingredients

  • 1.5 Over-Ripe Bananas the sweet maestros
  • 1/2 Cup of Fresh or Frozen Blueberries the berry burst
  • 3/8 Cup of Pure White Sugar the crystallized sweetness
  • 3/4 Cup of Versatile All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda the leavening whisper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon the aromatic twirl
  • 1 Whisked Egg use half of it, the golden binding agent
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Aromatic Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons of Melted Golden Butter
  • A Pinch of Crystalline Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the over-ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Add the fresh or frozen blueberries to the mashed bananas and gently mix.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  • To the mashed bananas and blueberries, add the sugar, whisked egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir well to combine.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the banana blueberry bread to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, slice the bread into thick slices and serve. Enjoy the delightful combination of sweet bananas and juicy blueberries!

  • Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
