Equipment

  • stirrer
  • Bowl
  • rolling pin

Ingredients

For Dough

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 package of active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

For filling

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

For glaze

  • 1/4 cup margarine melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Start by making the dough, Combine all-purpose flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Stir until everything is mixed together then add melted butter and warm water. Mix all the ingredients with your hands until it forms a dough. Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a lightly floured work surface before transferring it into a greased bowl and covering it with plastic wrap. Let the dough rise for an hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar until they’re combined into a paste for the filling.
  • Once the dough has risen, turn it out onto a lightly floured work surface. Roll it into a 9x13-inch rectangle then spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the dough. Roll up from one of the long sides and cut into 12 rolls before arranging them in the greased baking pan.
  • Cover the rolls with plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes before uncovering and baking for 20 minutes until golden brown. Allow the rolls to cool in the pan before glazing.
  • Create the glaze by whisking together melted margarine, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls and serve.
