Equipment

  • plate
  • Pan

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons Clarified unsalted butter melted
  • 8 Crushed cloves of garlic
  • Double the amount of finely chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley for garnish
  • 2 pounds Wild-caught Trader Joe’s Argentinian Red Shrimp deveined and peeled

Instructions

  • Rinse the Argentinian Red Shrimp thoroughly under cold water. Pat them dry using paper towels. Ensure the shrimp are deveined and peeled before use.
  • In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the clarified unsalted butter over medium heat until fully melted.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the crushed cloves of garlic to the pan. Let the garlic infuse into the butter, stirring occasionally, for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be cautious not to let the garlic brown or burn.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high. Carefully add the prepared Argentinian Red Shrimp to the pan. Cook the shrimp for approximately 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking. Shrimp cooks quickly, so keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
  • Once the shrimp are cooked through, sprinkle the double amount of finely chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley over the shrimp in the pan. Toss the shrimp gently to coat them with the garlic-infused butter and parsley.
  • Transfer the cooked shrimp to a serving platter or individual plates. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the pan over the shrimp. Garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve the Trader Joe's Argentinian Red Shrimp immediately while warm. They can be paired with rice, pasta, or your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh Argentinian shrimp instead of frozen.
  • You can also add other herbs and spices to the dish, such as cumin and cayenne pepper.
  • If you don't have a large skillet, you can also use a large sauté pan.
  • Make sure to adjust the amount of salt and pepper according to your preference.
  • You can also add other ingredients to the dish, such as diced tomatoes or capers.
