Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Skillet

Ingredients

  • 2 pound beef short ribs
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 pound meat
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350°F or 180°C. Rub the beef short ribs with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the beef short ribs. Cook until it is browned on all sides, about 10 minutes total.
  • In a food processor, mix the meat and cumin powder until it is smooth. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the ground beef mixture into 8 small rectangles. Place the beef short ribs on top of each rectangle, pressing down lightly to secure them in place.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, until the beef short ribs are cooked through and the meat is golden brown. Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as rice or beans.
