Ingredients

  • 15 pandan leaves
  • 1000 ml coconut milk
  • 600 gr white sugar
  • 8 egg yolks

Instructions

  • Gently combine pandan leaves, coconut milk, and white sugar in a pot over medium heat. Stir until all ingredients are fully mixed together.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk 8 egg yolks until they become creamy. Slowly add the egg yolk mixture to the pot while stirring continuously.
  • Increase the heat to high and continue stirring for around 25 minutes, or until the mixture thickens and reduces in size. Make sure to constantly stir so that it doesn't burn on the bottom of the pan.
  • Once finished, turn off the heat and let cool completely before serving. Enjoy with toast or other breakfast foods for a delicious treat!

  • If the mixture is too thick, you can add a bit of water to thin it out.
  • You can also add more sugar or pandan leaves if you want a sweeter or stronger flavor.
