- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 pack cream cheese 8 ounce, room temperature
- 1 egg only yolk
- 1 tablespoon whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 can Solo Fruit filling any flavor
- 1 Cup Butter normal temperature
Get a medium bowl. Put the cream cheese, butter, milk, and sugar in it. Use an electric mixer until everything is mixed well. It should be smooth and creamy.
Add the egg yolk. Mix it in with everything else. This will make the mixture rich and yellow.
Take another bowl. Put the flour and baking powder in it. Mix them together. Now, put this into the creamy mixture. Mix until it turns into a firm dough.
Cover the bowl. Put it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. This makes the dough tasty.
Heat the oven to 400°F. Take the dough out. Roll it on a floured surface until it's 1/4-inch thick.
Use a round cookie cutter to make circles from the dough. Put them on a baking sheet. Leave some space between each.
Press your thumb or a spoon in the middle of each cookie. Make a little dent.
Spoon some Solo Fruit filling into the dent. Use about a teaspoon for each cookie.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Look for a light brown color.
Take the cookies out. Let them cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle confectioners' sugar on top just before you eat them. Enjoy your Solo Kolacky!
Cream cheese is the secret ingredient that adds a rich and tangy flavor to the dough, while the Solo Fruit filling infuses the pastries with a burst of fruity goodness. The buttery crust, made with a combination of butter and flour, creates a melt-in-your-mouth texture that is simply irresistible.
