Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound of bacon
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 pounds of frozen potatoes
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Begin by heating up a large skillet on medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until it is crispy and browned.
  • Once the bacon is cooked, remove it from the pan and set aside. In the same skillet add the onion, garlic, and potatoes. Cook for 3 minutes before adding the butter and olive oil.
  • Turn the heat to high and stir continuously for about 10 minutes, or until the potatoes start to brown.
  • Lastly, add in the cooked bacon and season with salt and pepper. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
