Ingredients

  • 1 can 8 ounce size diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 6 tsp chopped fresh garlic
  • 6 tsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed chopped fresh basil
  • 24 blue mussels scrubbed and rinsed
  • pasta of your choice
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Instructions

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain afterward.
  • Start preparing the mussels by scrubbing each one under cold running water - discard any mussels that are already open. Once you're done, set them aside for later use.
  • Create the sauce by sautéing diced tomatoes with garlic in a large skillet over medium heat for roughly 5 minutes, until the tomatoes thicken. Then add parsley, basil, mussels, cooked pasta, and white wine. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  • Cover the skillet and let it cook for approximately five minutes or until you notice that every single mussel has opened up. Discard any mussels that do not open, as they are not suitable for consumption.
  • Serve the Red Lobster Mussels over your cooked pasta! Enjoy this delicious seafood feast with friends and family.
