Instructions

  • Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips. Slice the mushrooms and onions. Mince the garlic.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season beef strips with seasoned salt and Tellicherry black pepper. Sear the beef until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and sauté the sliced mushrooms and onions until softened.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mushroom and onion mixture, stirring constantly to create a roux. Cook for a few minutes until the flour is well incorporated.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and stir. Pour in Worcestershire sauce and continue stirring.
  • Gradually add beef broth to the skillet, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Allow the mixture to thicken.
  • Return the seared beef strips to the skillet. Stir to coat the beef with the rich, creamy sauce.
  • Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Lower the heat and stir in sour cream, allowing it to meld into the stroganoff. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
