Equipment

  • Popsicle molds
  • Bowl
  • Whisk

Ingredients

  • 45 g Soft Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 Ripe Banana
  • To taste Sweetener of choice
  • 15 g HERSHEY’S ZERO SUGAR Sugar-free Dark Chocolate Bar
  • 140 g Plain Greek Yogurt unsweetened
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract adds depth of flavor
  • To taste Crushed Walnuts a flavorful substitute for peanuts
  • 1 splash Condensed Milk

Instructions

Step 1: Preparing the Ingredients

  • First things first, gather all your ingredients. It’s best to have everything measured out and ready to go.

Step 2: Mash the Banana

  • Take your half-ripe banana and mash it until smooth. You want it to blend seamlessly into your yogurt mix.

Step 3: Mix the Wet Ingredients

  • In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, mashed banana, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and condensed milk. Whisk until you get a smooth, creamy mixture.

Step 4: Fold in the Nuts

  • Gently fold in the crushed walnuts. This gives your paletas a nice crunch.

Step 5: Pour into Molds

  • Carefully spoon the mixture into your popsicle molds. Try to leave a little space at the top as the mixture will expand as it freezes.

Step 6: Freeze

  • Pop the molds into the freezer for at least 4-5 hours. Overnight is even better if you can wait that long!

Step 7: Coating the Popsicles

  • Put the HERSHEY’S ZERO SUGAR Sugar-free Dark Chocolate Bar in a microwave-safe glass. Heat it in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring well after each time until the chocolate is completely melted.
  • Dip the frozen popsicles into the melted chocolate, then quickly roll them in the chopped walnuts. Let the chocolate harden, and repeat the process with the remaining popsicles.

Step 8: Serve

  • Once frozen, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to loosen the paletas. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Here are some pro tips to ensure your paletas are perfect every time:
  • Use Full-Fat Greek Yogurt: This adds extra creaminess and richness.
  • Sweeten to Taste: Always taste your mixture before freezing. Adjust the sweetener as needed.
  • Experiment with Add-Ins: Add fruits, nuts, or even chocolate chips for a fun twist.
  • Use Silicone Molds: These make it easier to remove the popsicles once frozen.
  • Don’t Overfill: Leave a little space at the top of your molds to prevent overflow as the mixture freezes.
