Ingredients

  • 1 cup unflavored moonshine
  • 1 pint dill pickles 16-ounce jar
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon Tabasco or Cholula hot sauce

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the red pepper flakes, Tabasco, or Cholula hot sauce, and one cup of moonshine until combined.
  • Place the jar of pickles in a shallow dish and pour the moonshine mixture over them. Make sure they’re completely submerged in the liquid.
  • Cover the dish and place it in the refrigerator. Let it sit for 24 hours, stirring occasionally to make sure all of the pickles are evenly coated with the mixture.
  • After 24 hours, remove the jar of pickles from the refrigerator and strain out any excess liquid. The pickles will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

• Make sure all of the pickles are submerged in the mixture before you put it in the refrigerator.
• If desired, add a few extra spices such as garlic powder and black pepper to give them an extra kick.
• Keep in mind that these pickles will get spicier the longer they sit in the mixture.
