Ingredients

  • 1 cup 240 ml / 8 fl oz coffee
  • 2 tbsp 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup 245 g / 8 oz yogurt
  • 1/4 cup / 60 ml / 2 fl oz milk
  • 6 tbsp milk powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a blender, add the freshly brewed coffee, cacao powder, maple syrup, yogurt, milk, and milk powder.
  • Blend until all ingredients are combined and the mixture is smooth.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness according to preference.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • To make a vegan version of this smoothie, use coconut milk or almond milk instead of cow’s milk.
  • If you want your smoothie to be extra creamy, you can add in some avocado or banana.
  • If you don’t have any maple syrup on hand, you can use honey or agave syrup as a substitute.
  • To make it even more special, add some fresh fruit such as pineapple, mango, or banana.
  • If you don’t have any milk powder on hand, you can replace it with some rolled oats or coconut flakes.
