Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 4 pieces bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 pack of macaroni and cheese
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 scallions diced for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil and add the macaroni noodles. Cook as per package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with the onions and garlic. Allow to cook for 5-7 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.
  • Add the cooked bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce to the mixture, stirring to combine. Allow to cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • To assemble the dish, add the macaroni noodles to the skillet and stir until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Cook for another 2 minutes before serving in individual bowls or on a plate. Top with diced scallions for garnish and extra flavor.
