Ingredients

  • 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • ¾ cup of rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp of honey
  • 1 tsp of Dijon mustard
  • ¾ cup of Li Hing Mui powder
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 3 tsp of lemon juice

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl, blend together the extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, honey, and Dijon mustard until all ingredients are completely combined.
  • Take another bowl and combine the Li Hing Mui powder and sugar in it. Stir them to make sure they are blended evenly.
  • Add the Li Hing Mui and sugar mixture into the olive oil, vinegar, honey, and Dijon mustard bowl. Whisk until all of the ingredients have been incorporated.
  • Pour in the lemon juice and whisk again to make sure it is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • Carefully pour the syrup into an airtight container or jar.
