Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tsp Mustard
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 3 tsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of white wine vinegar with 4 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 teaspoons of mustard. Sprinkle in a pinch each of salt and pepper.
  • Stir until all the ingredients come together, then add in 3 teaspoons of lemon juice to balance out the flavors. The sauce should have a creamy consistency when it’s finished.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust any of the ingredients as needed to get your desired flavor profile.
  • Serve up the amazing Jimmy John's Oil and Vinegar Sauce with your favorite sandwich or salad!

Notes

  • If you want a creamier sauce, try adding a tablespoon of mayonnaise.
  • If you’re not a fan of white wine vinegar, then feel free to replace it with apple cider or red wine vinegar.
  • For an extra kick, add some hot sauce or diced jalapenos to the mix!
  • If the sauce is too thick, then thin it out with a bit of water or extra olive oil.
  • For a lighter flavor, try replacing some of the vinegar with lemon juice.
  • You can also add other herbs and spices such as garlic powder, onion powder, or dried oregano to give the sauce an extra depth of flavor.
  • This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Just make sure to give it a stir before using it each time.
