Equipment

  • Parchment paper
  • Baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 2 packages of smoked beef brisket
  • 2 tbsp BBQ rub

Instructions

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet and spread the brisket out in an even layer. Take two tablespoons of BBQ sauce and drizzle over the top of the meat. Generously sprinkle with BBQ rub until coated.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges of the brisket are slightly crisp.
  • When fully cooked, remove from oven and transfer to a cutting board. Cut into cubes then place back on the baking sheet. Drizzle with remaining BBQ sauce and sprinkle with remaining rub.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes for a delicious meal.

Notes

  • If you don't have any BBQ rub on hand, try using smoked paprika instead.
  • Feel free to add other ingredients like beans or cheese if you're looking for a more filling meal.
  • To get the perfect crunchy texture, make sure to bake your burnt ends for long enough. You should aim for an even golden brown color across the entire surface.
  • For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce or balsamic vinegar to the BBQ sauce before you drizzle it overtop of the brisket.
