Spoon
- 40 ml light soy sauce
- 30 ml superfine sugar
- 120 ml Asian sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons finely diced ginger
- 30 ml rice wine vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic
- 30 ml Chinese sesame-seed paste
In a small bowl, mix together the light soy sauce, Asian sesame oil, superfine sugar, and rice wine vinegar until it is homogenous.
In a food processor or blender, combine the ginger, garlic, and Chinese sesame-seed paste until smooth.
Add the liquid mixture to the food processor or blender and blend until everything is combined.
Place the dressing in a glass jar with an airtight lid and store it in the refrigerator for up to five days.
- Make sure to use light soy sauce, as regular soy sauce will be too salty.
- If you don’t have Chinese sesame-seed paste, you can substitute tahini.
- If the dressing seems too thick, add a bit of water to thin it out.
