Ingredients

  • 8 ounces thick-slice Hickory-Smoked Bacon
  • 1 tablespoon diced Jalapeno
  • One 8-ounce Strip Steak
  • Two 28-ounce cans Bush’s Baked Beans
  • One 8-ounce smoked Pork Sausage
  • Dave’s Steak Seasoning to taste
  • One 20-ounce bottle Famous Dave’s BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup chopped Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Bacon Drippings
  • 1/3 cup chopped Green Bell Pepper

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, dice up the bacon and cook it in a skillet until it’s crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Cut steak into cubes and season with Dave’s Steak Seasoning. Cook steak in Bacon droppings & Jalapeno until browned.
  • Drain beans and rinse. Transfer to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Add bacon pieces, steak cubes, pork sausage, onion, bell pepper, and BBQ sauce to the beans. Mix together with a spoon until everything is combined.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • If you don’t have Dave’s Steak Seasoning, you can use your favorite steak seasoning or just salt & pepper.
  • Mix up the ingredients a few times while it bakes to ensure that the flavors are evenly distributed.
  • For extra flavor, you can add other favorite BBQ ingredients like Worcestershire sauce or chili powder.
  • If you want to make this dish spicier, add more jalapenos or any other hot peppers of your choice.
