  • 4-6 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2-3 habanero peppers
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 28 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers
  • ½ cup green bell pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pinch cloves
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • ¼ cup stevia powder
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke

Instructions

  • Begin by mincing the garlic and finely chopping the onion, bell pepper, habanero peppers, and jalapeño peppers. Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until melted.
  • Add all chopped vegetables to the pan and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, water, and all remaining spices to the pan.

  • Finally add lemon juice, molasses, stevia powder, liquid smoke, and cayenne pepper sauce. Simmer for another 10 minutes while stirring occasionally.

Notes

• If you like a spicier sauce, add more jalapeño or habanero peppers.
• For a milder sauce, reduce the amount of cayenne pepper and chilli powder.
• You can also experiment with different spices such as oregano or thyme for added flavor.
• If the sauce is too thick, add a little more water or tomato sauce to thin it out.
• You can store leftover Dino’s chicken sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
