Ingredients

  • 1 ounce fresh coarsely chopped peppers
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 cup peeled and chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime Juice
  • 1*1/2 pounds coarsely chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together tomatoes, onion, peppers, and cilantro.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together garlic, lime juice, and salt. Pour over the vegetables into the other bowl and mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor. Pulse on low speed until the vegetables are evenly combined. Pour the salsa into a serving bowl and enjoy.

  • To make your Chuy’s salsa extra flavorful, add some chopped jalapenos or habanero peppers for a spice kick.
  • For a milder version, you can substitute the tomatoes with a can of peeled diced tomatoes, or use fresh cherry tomatoes.
  • You can also add some chopped avocados for a creamier texture and additional flavor.
