Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 5 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 2 14.5- Ounce Can Contadina Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • Salt To Taste
  • 2 lb Bob Evans Zesty Hot Roll Pork Sausage
  • 1 cup water Add More If Needed
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese Sour Cream, And Chopped Cilantro For Garnish
  • 2 15- ounce Can Red Kidney Beans With Liquid
  • 2 15.5- ounce Can Muir Glen Organic Tomato Sauce
  • 1 ½ cups Chopped Onion

Instructions

  • In a large pan, add the Bob Evans Zesty Hot Roll Pork Sausage and cook until it’s completely cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a separate pot, add the onion and garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, diced tomatoes with liquid and tomato sauce. Mix it all together and bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the cooked pork sausage, kidney beans with liquid and water. Stir everything together until well combined.
  • Simmer the chili for 30 minutes or until the desired consistency is achieved. You can add more water if it looks too thick. Serve the chili with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and chopped cilantro. Then eat.

Notes

• To make a spicier version of the chili, add more chilli powder or fresh chillies to taste.
• If you like your chili thicker, reduce the water in the recipe.
• To make it more filling, add cooked rice or quinoa.
• For a vegetarian version, replace pork sausage with your favourite plant-based protein.
