Honey
to taste, as needed
Instructions
Wash and dice the strawberries, cantaloupe, papaya, and pineapple.
Chop the pecans into small pieces.
Measure and set aside 2 tablespoons of chopped pecans.
Measure and set aside 2 tablespoons of raisins.
In a bowl, mix together plain yogurt and condensed milk.
Add vanilla to the yogurt mixture and stir well.
In serving bowls or glasses, start layering the diced fruits. You can be creative with the order.
Sprinkle chopped pecans and raisins over the fruit layers.
Spoon the prepared yogurt mixture over the layered fruits and nuts.
Sprinkle plain granola over the yogurt layer.
Finish by adding sweetened shredded coconut on top.
If desired, drizzle honey over the Bionicos to add sweetness according to your taste.
Spoon Mexican cream or sour cream over the top for a creamy finish.
Bionicos are best enjoyed fresh, so serve immediately and savor the delicious combination of fruits, nuts, and creamy goodness.
Notes
If the bananas are not ripe enough, add a tablespoon of honey to the mashed bananas to sweeten them.
For an extra kick, add a pinch of cinnamon to the mixture.
If you don’t have fresh fruit on hand, you can use frozen fruit as a substitute. Just make sure to thaw it before adding it to the mixture.
If you don’t have sweetened condensed milk, you can substitute it with evaporated milk.
If you don’t have coconut flakes, you can substitute it with shredded coconut.
If you don’t have marshmallows, you can substitute them with mini marshmallows.
