Ingredients

  • 3 Eggs beaten
  • 1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Melted Butter
  • 1 Dash of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1 Cup Shelled Pecans
  • 1 Cup White Corn Syrup or White Sugar
  • 9- inch Unbaked Pie Shell.

Instructions

  • Whisk together the beaten eggs, dark brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth. Then stir in salt and pecans until evenly combined. Gradually add either white corn syrup or white sugar, stirring continuously to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Pour the mixture into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit in a preheated oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving.
