Equipment

  • 2 mixing bowl
  • loaf pan

Ingredients

  • 2 Stick Of Butter At Room Temperature
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 2 Cup Of Sugar
  • 3 Cup Mashed Bananas
  • 4 Handfuls Of Chopped Walnuts
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract Your Choice
  • 2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Of Chopped Walnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Line the pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Then add in the eggs one at a time while beating well after each addition. Mix in the mashed banana and vanilla extract.
  • Gently fold in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined and then stir in the chopped walnuts.
  • Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. Allow the loaf to cool in its pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire cooling rack. Enjoy your delicious banana bread.

Notes

  • If you don't have fresh walnuts on hand, feel free to use chopped pecans or even chocolate chips instead.
  • For an extra sweet treat, try adding a layer of melted semi-sweet chocolate chips on top of the banana bread before baking.
  • Make sure to use very ripe bananas for this.
  • The easiest way to mash the bananas is with a fork.
  • For best results, use all-purpose flour and not whole wheat.
